Caminos Verdes LLC

Committed to Sustainable Permaculture

Caminos Verdes LLC is on a mission to revolutionize sustainable agriculture in Puerto Rico. As a new pathfinder in regenerative farming, we harness the power of vetiver grass to combat erosion, boost crop yields, and provide natural water treatment solutions.

Leveraging our expertise as former Indiana farmers living in a wildlife habitat with prairie grasses, we have successfully integrated vetiver grass and moringa trees to create a thriving, pesticide-free ecosystem in Quebrada, Camuy, Puerto Rico. We will educate the Puerto Rico farmer, I mean collectively a community of gardeners, homesteaders, clean food enthusiasts on the benefits of permaculture and Vetiver. By pairing vetiver with Moringa trees, we create a synergistic ecosystem that enhances nutrient uptake, all while avoiding harmful pesticides and herbicides.

Our company also promotes the use of biochar, derived from felled African tulip trees, as a soil amendment to further improve conservation and productivity. With a focus on empowering veterans, the elderly, and youth, we're committed to transforming Puerto Rico's agricultural landscape into a model of sustainability and resilience.
